Columbia Granger's World of Poetry Provides access to poems, biographies, terms, and commentary, as well as citations to poems in books at the Library.

Contemporary Authors Provides complete biographical and bibliographical information and references on more than 120,000 U.S. and international authors.
Discovering Collection This database provides in-depth reference content for the areas of literature, history, biographies, science, and social studies.

Gale Literary Index Helpful for literary criticism, search this database to find out which Gale reference sources contain information and criticism about a particular author or work.

Gale Virtual Reference Library
Database of encyclopedias, almanacs, and specialized reference sources for multidisciplinary research.
Literary Reference Center Provides author biographies and interviews, plot summaries, book reviews, literary analysis, a glossary of literary terms, and a timeline. Oxford African American Studies Center With over 7,500 articles, this database covers African-American history, biography, and the African-American experience. Also includes images, maps, articles on African-American literature and more.
Play Index This database indexes 30,000 plays written in, or translated into, English — including classic drama, puppet performances, and radio and television plays. Search by title; author; subject; style; genre; cast type; and more. Provides the bibliographic information needed to locate each play. Use in the Main Library's Reference Center only.
Short Story Index Use this index to find where a short story was published—in an anthology or periodical. Contains more than 84,000 stories, with 1,600 in full text. Indexing begins in 1984, and full-text coverage in 1994. Use in the Main Library's Reference Center only.
