Newark Public Library Kids'_Place

  Meet Author Daniel Kirk
mouse_with_books Daniel Kirk is the author and illustrator of over thirty books for children, including Snow Dude, Dogs Rule!, Cat Power, and his latest, award-winning picture book, Library Mouse.

Daniel will share poems, stories and songs, and talk about developing characters. He will lead the children in a drawing game that will help them make up their own characters. Time permitting, the children will begin work on their own small books with characters developed in the group.
