Newark Public Library Kids' Place

Children's Book Week 2006
Bookmark Contest Winners!

The Newark Public Library celebrated Children's Book Week 2006 with a bookmark contest for students. Using the themes "More Books, Please" or "The Very Best Readers," children created a wide variety of imaginative bookmarks, making it very difficult for the librarians to pick winners!

Below are the three winners and six honorable mentions. Children's Book Week is sponsored by the Children's Book Council.
