Photos from the Reopening Celebration at the First Avenue Branch
November 16, 2006
On Thursday, November 16, the First Avenue Branch celebrated its reopening. The branch had been closed for a year due to damage from flooding. While the branch was closed, patrons traveled to Main Library or other nearby branches for library service. But on November 16, the neighborhood showed up to see the restored facility, including new materials, computers, new windows, new furniture, and more.
