On Thursday, September 13, 2007, The Newark Public Library held its opening reception to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month, and welcome patrons to the exhibition, Ecuador Expocultura 2007: New Jersey, which runs from September 10 – November 3, 2007.
Special guests at the event included Luis Quintana, Council Member-at-Large, and Jessica Escala, General Consul of Ecuador in New Jersey and Pennsylvania. Music was provided by Master Band, Banda de Pueblo.
