Some of the finest prints in the collection of artwork amassed by The Newark Public Library since the turn of the 20th century will be on display in the public galleries on the second and third floors of the Main Library, 5 Washington St., through the holiday season and into the New Year.
The exhibition, Gala Fine Prints, opens November 14 with a festive evening from 6 to 8pm, hosted by William J. Dane, curator and the Library’s Keeper of Works of Art on Paper. During the reception, Mr. Dane will speak about the Library’s extensive special collections and selection of prints that will be on display through January 12.
The exhibit is free and open to the public during regular library hours. For more information or to arrange a group tour, please call 973-733-7745.
