Opening Reception - The World in Prints: An International Survey of Graphic Arts, Contemporary and Historic
On Wednesday, November 14, 2007, the Library held an opening reception to celebrate its exhibition The World in Prints: An International Survey of Graphic Arts, Contemporary and Historic, which is a cooperative project with the Paul Robeson Gallery on the Rutgers-Newark campus with works on loan from the Library. These companion exhibitions feature more than two hundred original works of graphic art from the Library's William J. Dane Fine Print Collection. The Library's exhibition was curated by William J. Dane, the Library's Keeper of Works of Art on Paper. Jorge Daniel Veneciano, Director of the Paul Robeson Gallery, selected the prints on loan to Rutgers-Newark. Music for the reception was provided by Dyad.
