Library holds on-line reading game
Press Release 4/12

The Newark Public Library is holding a "Million Dollar Reading Challenge" on its Kids' Place Web site, which may be accessed through the library's home page: www.npl.org. Participants may challenge their knowledge of children's books and literature by answering a series of multiple-choice questions. Winners then printout "library-dollar" coupons, redeemable at any of the library's Children’s Rooms, for one prize at each of three levels: $1,000 (a pencil), $32,000 (a lanyard), and $1,000,000 (a water bottle).

The game continues through May 2000. For more information, patrons may ask a children's librarian or access the library's home page and click on "Who Wants to be a Million Dollar Reader?"
