Please join us in The Newark Public Library's Centennial Hall for "In the Words of a King: Recitations and Songs," featuring a selection of the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.'s speeches (performed by actors Camille Yarbrough, Jamil A.C. Mangan, Count Stovall and Marie Thomas) against the backdrop of songs from the Civil Rights Era (performed by Provenance Music Group). Keynote address by Civil Rights activist Lawrence Hamm, Founder, Peoples' Organization for Progress (POP).
