Library on the airwaves and in print

The Newark Public Library now has a weekly half-hour program on WNJR-AM radio (1430 on the dial). In addition to news about Library events, the program (usually on Monday at 7pm) will include readings from well-known authors and poets.

In addition, Twin Visions monthly newspaper, circulated throughout Newark and Essex County, will have a feature article on a wide variety of Library topics, ranging from personalities to special celebrations. The inaugural feature in December dealt with The Newark Public Library's place in the community, according to Dr. Alex Boyd, Library Director.

Be sure to "tune in to" these two regular sources of information on the Library.
