Madison Branch reopens The Library held an open house on March 31 to show case the newly renovated Madison storefront Branch Library. It now has a new facade, a redecorated interior, a new circulation desk, a remodeled lavatory, improved security, and new technology. “With funds from the Newark Public Schools,” notes Wilma Grey, Assistant Director for Community Library Services, “we also were able to upgrade the book collection.” For more information about the collections, programs, and services of the “new” Madison Branch, the public is invited to visit the facility (790 Clinton Avenue) or call 733-8090.
