Another Round of "Round Tables"The Library and the Newark Literacy Campaign have been holding ESOL (English for speakers of other languages) Conversation Round Tables at the Main Library, 5 Washington Street, at the Branch Brook Branch Library, 235 Clifton Avenue, and at the North End Branch Library, 722 Summer Avenue. The current round of eight-week beginner and intermediate-level sessions will conclude shortly; however, classes will resume in the Fall. Registration is required. Funding for this project is provided by a literacy grant from the New Jersey State Library. |
