Library fundraisers As one of its fundraising events, the Library held a fashion show last November at Saks Fifth Avenue at the Mall in Short Hills. Entitled Defining Style, Holiday 1999 Fashion Show, the event raised matching funds for the Library’s National Endowment for the Humanities grant. Sheila Conforti and Marilyn Stone co-chaired the fashion extravaganza, PSE&G of Newark sponsored it, and the Manor of West Orange provided the refreshments. Forthcoming fundraisers include an Author! Author! the Art of Writing luncheon, a Gourmet Gala, and a major golf event. For more information about any of these programs, please call Nancy Allen at (973) 726-9242.
