Spanish/Bilingual Database

The first electronic database to provide indexing, full text, and images of fifty of the most popular Spanish-language and bilingual magazines is now available at the Library. Funded by the New Jersey State Library, Informé includes full-text pamphlets on diverse topics and the full text of the El Nuevo Herald (Miami, Fla.) Spanish-language newspaper. The database provides useful indexing terms and a Spanish-language thesaurus based on common Spanish expressions.

 This database also offers information on:

• cultural and lifestyle issues
• politics
• current events
• health
• parenting
• music
• entertainment
• reference topics

Informé is accessible only at the Library (no remote access from home or work). Look for it on the Library’s home page: Click on Internet & Electronic Resources, then select Informé.
