Friends schedule Dana Lecture
The event will be held in Centennial Hall, beginning at 6 p.m. More information—including instructions for securing tickets—will be provided in the Spring issue of The Second Century. This lecture is delivered each year by Newarkers who have distinguished themselves in the State or nation. Previous lecturers have been Amiri Baraka, noted literary figure and community activist; Samuel C. Miller, retired director of The Newark Museum; Richard Wesley, political playwright and Hollywood screenwriter; Peter Rodino, a former Congressman; and Philip Roth, acclaimed novelist. |
