Friends award "curator" grant for 1998 The Friends of The Newark Public Library have awarded the Library a $2,500 grant in support of the exhibition for this year's Hispanic Heritage Celebration. The exhibition is entitled Moments in the Puerto Rican Experience, 1898-1998: The Literary Mirror. It will open formally on September 17 at 6 p.m.
