Library plans "Gourmet Gala"
The evening's agenda includes a 7pm cocktail hour, an 8pm sit-down dinner at which several of New Jersey's finest restaurants will present their award-winning specialties, and an awards presentation for continuous contributions to academic and cultural development. The Peter Duchin Orchestra will provide the entertainment. Ticket price is $150; or $1,500 for a table of ten. The Library is planning a black-tie Gourmet Gala for May 18, 1998, at The Manor in West Orange. The gala is part of a major fund-raising campaign to secure $300,000 in matching funds for the grant we received from the National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH).
