The Library has scheduled September 17, 1998, as the date for the Opening Reception for our Hispanic Heritage Month Celebration. This year's celebration marks the 100th anniversary of the Spanish-American War. The reception will begin at 6 p.m. and formally open the accompanying exhibition, which focuses on the relationship between Puerto Rico and New Jersey.
More information about the exhibition and the schedule of cultural programs will appear in the Fall issue of the newsletter.
