Trustee Officers Elected; New Trustee Appointed At the June meeting of The Newark Public Library’s Board of Trustees, Harold Lucas resigned to accept an appointment in the Clinton administration. Alberto Coutinho was elected to succeed Mr. Lucas as Trustee President. Additional changes included Joseph Yeadon’s election to succeed Mr. Coutinho as Treasurer, and the appointment of Deputy Mayor Angelo Cortinas to serve as Alternate for Mayor Sharpe James. The staff and administration of the Library express a special thanks to the out-going trustees Harold Lucas and Philip LiVecchi.
