Note: In 2014, we lost some of our greatest artists, entertainers, and community activists. We will honor them with the lifting up of their voices by reading works written by them or about them. The Ancestors: Amiri Baraka, Maya Angelou, Little Jimmy Scott, Horace Silver, Ruby Dee, Paul Robeson,Jr., and Elombe Brath.
