College Recruitment Night

The High School Academic Support Program will be hosting a college recruitment night for high school seniors.

Wednesday, February 27, 2008
4:00 to 7:00 pm

Springfield Branch Library

Newark, NJ 07103

Recruiters will be on hand from:

  • Berkeley College
  • Bloomfield College
  • Cheyney University
  • The College of New Jersey
  • Fairleigh Dickinson University
  • Felician College
  • Howard University
  • Johnson C. Smith University
  • Kean University
  • New Jersey City University
  • NJIT
  • Norfolk State University
  • Ramapo College of New Jersey
  • Rutgers University
  • Seton Hall University
  • St. Peter's College
  • United States Navy
  • University of New Haven
  • William Paterson University
  • and other institutions

To be considered for an on-site admissions decision, high school seniors should bring:

  • Two (2) letters of recommendation
  • Personal statement
  • High school transcripts
  • SAT scores
  • Parents' 2006 income tax return (in order to be considered for student financial aid)

Students who bring these items will be considered and accepted if their scores, grades, and other information meet the admissions standards of the schools to which they apply.

In addition, the Springfield branch library continues to hold FREE SAT Prep classes on Wednesdays from 5:00 - 7:00 pm, and Saturdays from 11:00 am - 1:00 pm.
