Library renews and expands "Club Success"

Club Success, the popular Library program that offers Newark students—in grades one through eight—focused and aggressive assistance with their homework, is again in operation. The program is funded by grants from The Newark Public Schools (for the fourth consecutive year), The Geraldine R. Dodge Foundation, and the Ambrose & Ida Fredrickson Foundation.

“With the added funding this year, we not only were able to expand the program to the entire Newark Public Library system,” notes Michele Cappetta, Youth Services Coordinator, “we also will continue offering after-school help throughout the school year.”

There are no fees or academic requirements to join Club Success.

To request more information or to join a club, call one of the Children’s Rooms: Branch Brook (733-6388), Clinton (733-7754), First Avenue (733-8091), Madison (733-8090), Main Library (733-7797), North End (733-7766), Roseville (733-7770), Springfield (733-7736), Vailsburg (733-7749), Van Buren (733-3897), and Weequahic (733-7751), or call Michele Cappetta at 733-5642.
