About the Newark Public Library Digital Collections
Our digital collections were created with a grant from the Carnegie Foundation. They include items from the Charles F. Cummings New Jersey Information Center, New Jersey Hispanic Research and Information Center, Special Art Collections and James Brown African American Room.
Though our digital collections contain over 50,000 items, the majority of our collections are not digitized.
