Policy on the Americans with Disabilities Act
The Newark Public Library shall endeavor to comply with the provisions of the Americans with Disabilities Act in its services, collections, facilities and employment practices.
Policy of Non-Discrimination on the Basis of Disability
The Newark Public Library does not discriminate on the basis of disability in the admission or access to, or treatment or employment in, its library programs or services.
Leslie Colson, 5 Washington Street, Newark, N.J. (973-733-7740) has been designated to coordinate compliance with the non-discrimination requirements contained in section 35.107 of the Department of Justice regulations. Information concerning the provisions of the Americans with Disabilities Act are available from the ADA Coordinator.
