BEATS Program (Basic Education and Audio Training System) w/Roc (4 weeks)

This program is an introductory course into the inner workings of music production and audio editing. The students will be taught how to use the studio equipment and learn music production software techniques in a hands-on environment.

Tuesday, March 4, 11, 18, 25  
5:30 pm-7:30 pm 

Week 1: Studio Basics
In this course, you will become familiar with audio equipment used in typical studio setups. We will also begin recording demo tracks to learn how recording software works.

Week 2: Recording & Mixing Techniques 
This week we dive deeper into the recording and mixing process. We will further enhance our recordings using digital audio effects.

Week 3: Eyes & Ears 
Ear training and mixing techniques, which will teach students the different spectrums of sound and music.

Week 4: Music Sync & Sound Effects 
Students will learn to do sound design for film and commercials and create music for effect in video post-production.
