Challenging Gentrification in Jersey City This episode is an interview about gentrification and its effect on housing and education in Jersey City with Danielle Walker and Dana Patton, both members of the Jersey City Together (JCT) organization. Danielle and Dana share advice for aspiring community organizers as well. JCT launched in April 2016 at the Old Bergen Church with over 890+ leaders present. The organization has three primary areas of focus: housing affordability, education, and public safety. Since its founding, JCT has listened to thousands of Jersey City residents and trained hundreds to act on their interests.
