For more than 100 years, the Newark Public Library has been a pillar of our community. Today libraries serve an even more vital purpose than ever before. We offer a safe space, accurate and up-to-date information and great programs and exhibits that inform and entertain. Every day, the Newark Public Library continues its mission of transforming lives.
While we still have thousands of books, we are so much more! We are home to the largest archive of New Jersey history, the largest collection of Spanish-language library sources in the state and a rich trove of materials related to African-American life, history and culture. We are a haven for those seeking the support of a social worker, help with homework, or the use of a computer and printer. We are proud to serve everyone in our 21st century library.
None of this would be possible without the continued support of our donors. On behalf of Newark Public Library, thank you for your investment in enriching the lives of others.
