A dynamic leader in Newark during the Great Depression, Frank Kingdon was instrumental in forming the schools that led to the creation of Rutgers-Newark. He later chaired the Emergency Rescue Committee, which rescued about 2,000 people from the Holocaust.
Our presenter is Tom Kingdon, TV/film producer and professor emeritus at Emerson College—and son of Frank Kingdon.
Light refreshments will be served.
