The Newark Public Library is excited to announce the opening of Made@NPL, a makerspace for Newark’s creative entrepreneurs!
Newark Public Library cardholders will have access to a variety of equipment and software at no cost. Sessions will be available by appointment.
Made@NPL will include the following equipment and software:
• An audio recording studio with two Shure SM7B Vocal Dynamic Microphones, a Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 3rd Gen USB audio interface, two pairs of Audio Technica ATH-M50X Studio Monitor Headphones, and an iMac 27” computer
• A Cricut Explore 3 cutting machine and the Cricut Design Space app
•An industrial heat press and a Cricut Easy Press Mini
• Two Singer Heavy Duty Sewing Machines (Model 4411)
• A Brother Serger (Model 1034D)
• A Glowforge Pro laser cutter
• A Makerbot Replicator + 3D Printer
• Photography and video equipment
• Access to Adobe Creative Suite
• Access to LinkedIn Learning
• Books and materials to support entrepreneurs
