Resisting Police Violence Through Rebellion, 1964 Following the police killing of George Floyd in May 2020, residents in cities across the country took to the streets to protest police brutality. This episode examines policies passed in the 1960s, another period of rebellion against police violence, to explore how this state violence has lasted so long.
