Death Notice / Obit Request

You may request up to three obituaries or death notices per month. There will be a $15 fee for out of state residents if we are able to locate your requests.  We will search the Newark area papers: Newark Evening News and/or Star Ledger unless otherwise indicated (indicate in “Other Comments” field).  A list of all the newspapers we own is available here. We search the papers for five days after the date of death.  Note that we only have Newark area Papers. Return to our home page and click the Genealogy tab for ideas about other libraries to contact for other areas in the state.
