Many Afro-descendant communities throughout the Americas lack meaningful representation in government and mass media, therefore their presence and influential cultures are overlooked or erased. This program honors Afro-descendant communities and their work for Black Liberation in the Western Hemisphere and seeks to raise consciousness about the importance of Black Unity in the struggle against White supremacy.
