La artista visual Ana de Orbegoso presenta su libro V\u00edrgenes Urbanas, <\/em>una colecci\u00f3n de fotograf\u00edas basadas en pinturas coloniales de la Virgen, revisadas y reinventadas para reflejar realidades e ideales contempor\u00e1neos. Esta obra, realizada en colaboraci\u00f3n con el poeta cusque\u00f1o Odi Gonz\u00e1les, combina cada imagen con un poema en ingl\u00e9s, espa\u00f1ol y quechua. El libro rinde homenaje y critica las im\u00e1genes tradicionales de las v\u00edrgenes en el arte colonial espa\u00f1ol, reemplazando las caras europeas en las pinturas originales con im\u00e1genes de mujeres y ni\u00f1os actuales del Per\u00fa.
