\nJames Brown African American Room<\/strong><\/p>\nDealing with the police has always been a sensitive subject for many, and in the current climate it is more important than ever to know what rights we are afforded under the Constitution. During this seminar will be discussing 4th Amendment law through the lens of police interaction, with a focus on distinguishing between stop & frisk Terry stops, custodial arrests, and non-seizure encounters.<\/p>\n
Apart from the legal doctrine, we will also be discussing the informal practice of knowing how and when to exercise your rights.<\/p>\n
