Join a community conversation on mental health and navigating mental health services as queer and trans people of color (QTPOC). This program will center two mental health care professionals as guest speakers: Lazora Jordan, LMSW, and Alex Lee, LMSW.<\/span><\/p>\n

Lazora (they\/them) is a Mental Health Clinician in Newark, NJ who uses an intersectional approach to trauma-informed therapy and an anti-oppression approach.<\/span><\/p>\n

Alex (he\/him) is a clinical social worker at MA General Hospital. Advocate, liaison, and coordinator for patients experiencing acute mental health challenges.<\/span><\/p>\n

The program will begin with an introduction of these guest speakers and an overview of mental health resources. The LGBTQ Services Librarian, Lena, will then begin the conversation with some pre-scripted questions to provide context. The rest of the hour will be open to participant questions for Lazora and Alex. Anyone can join to watch this program, but we are prioritizing LGBTQ+ people of color for questions and humbly request that white, cisgender, straight people in attendance just listen.<\/span><\/p>\n
