Yoselyn Sanchez is a 20-year-old student at Rutgers University of Newark, NJ, with a major in Business and Dance. Being of Puerto Rican descent, Latin dancing was in her nature.\u00a0 At 11 years old, Miss Sanchez was introduced to the dance scene after attending her first dance class at MDN Latin Dance Studio in Belleville, NJ. Since then she gained a passion for dancing salsa On2 and began her career as a soloist\/instructor at the age of 15. In her ongoing commitment to serve, Yoselyn Sanchez was appointed as the Youth Advisor for the Puerto Rican Day Parade Executive Board in April of 2017, teaching free Latin dance classes for the Newark community for the next two years. Later she graduated from Science Park High School, and she spent countless hours training and studying in various Latin companies including the MDN pro team, Peak Latin Dance Team, Shani Talmor Cadencia Ladies Team. She performed on stages all over New Jersey\/ New York with artists such as Tito Nieves, Frankie Negron, Andy Monta\u00f1ez, Tito Puente Jr, Eddie Palmieri, and more. She aspires to continue being a positive and exemplary role model for our youth and to follow her dreams and pursue a career in dance.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
