Newark Public Library Large Scale Programs Policy<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/h1>\n

Large scale indoor events sponsored by the Library generally involve groups of unassociated people interacting for a substantial period of time. <\/span>Effective Monday, November 1st<\/strong><\/span>,<\/strong> the Library will require proof of vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test for all individuals, including Library staff attending large scale Library sponsored events. By attending a large scale event at the Newark Public Library, attendees assume the potential inherent risk of participating in a large scale event that may increase transmission risk for attendees. The risk of transmission cannot be eliminated, only managed. This requirement is in place to help patrons make informed decisions about risk acceptance in consideration of attending large scale events at the Library.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

In-Person Attendance Requirements:<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n

\u2022 Valid photo ID for ages 16 and up<\/span><\/p>\n

– <\/span>AND one of the following<\/span> –<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Vaccination card for ages 12 and up <\/span>(digital proof will be accepted)<\/span><\/span><\/td>\n
