Steven J. Zipperstein, Daniel E. Koshland Professor in Jewish Culture and History at Stanford University, is the author and editor of nine books including Pogrom: Kishinev and the Tilt of History<\/em> (Liveright, 2018) and Rosenfeld’s Lives:\u00a0 Fame, Oblivion and the Furies of Writing<\/em> (Yale, 2008).\u00a0 He is currently writing a biography of Roth for Yale’s Jewish Lives.<\/p>\n
