A year ago, the <\/span>Newark LGBTQ Center<\/span> moved to its new home in the Library’s Main Building.\u00a0<\/span>Not long before, NPL had hired its first LGBTQ outreach librarian.<\/span><\/p>\n
Tonight, meet <\/span>Rachel Paulus <\/span>& <\/span>Beatrice Simpkins<\/span>. Rachel is NPL’s outreach librarian to the LGBTQ community, and Beatrice is the executive director of the LGBTQ Center. They will discuss the important partnership between these two institutions with the Newark Public Library’s <\/span>Thomas Ankner<\/span>.<\/span><\/p>\n
