Celebrate culture, community and creative expression at NJPAC’s annual Kwanzaa Festival and Marketplace!
On Saturday, December 17, NJPAC’s annual Kwanzaa Family Festival and Artisan Marketplace returns. The day’s festivities include dance classes, storytelling, face painting, a Kwanzaa candle lighting ceremony, live performances and much more.

- Starting at 10AM, get moving with dance classes, be creative with arts + crafts, or enjoy storytime with the little ones. From 1 – 2PM, get ready to applaud your loved ones when they perform what they learned at the Festival in a special Show and Share.

- The Artisan Marketplace stays open all weekend starting Friday from 7 – 11PM, Saturday from 12 – 10PM and Sunday from 2 – 6PM. Browse among a variety of one-of-a-kind treasures such as custom and cultural clothing, handcrafted jewelry, unique hats, bath and body products, candles, books, art and more!
- Performances continue throughout the day from 10AM – 9PM, including free presentations in the Prudential Hall lobby every hour plus The Hip Hop Nutcracker ticketed shows at 2PM and 7:30PM.
