Salman Rushdie is the author of 13 novels including Midnight’s Children, winner of the 1981 Booker Prize and Best of the Booker in 2008, The Satanic Verses, and most recently, The Golden House. He is also the author of a book of stories, East, West, and four works of non-fiction, including his memoir Joseph Anton.

In honor of Rushdie’s 2018 Philip Roth Lecture at the Newark Public Library on September 27, Audible is offering a free download of Midnight’s Children to all attendees.
