Join us to learn more about pre-college programs available locally and throughout New Jersey, and how they can help prepare you on your path to college.

Facilitated by the Seton Hall University Upward Bound Program

The Seton Hall University Upward Bound Program (SHUUB) is a federally funded program, that offers a variety of academic enrichment, career counseling, and cultural exposures for first-generation, low-income high school students from the cities of Newark, East Orange, and Irvington New Jersey. The program’s mission is to build, encourage, and create an environment for learning; while providing participants with the skills necessary to successfully complete high school, pursue, and complete a program of post-secondary education. SHUUB is one of the oldest premier pre-college programs; we will explore our goals and objectives, and how we can assist students to tap into their fullest potential.

Presented by Newark Public Library and Newark City of Learning Collaborative’s “Newark Goes to College Initiative”.
