Please note that due to COVID-19 restrictions, the Library will be closed from 12-1pm daily (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday)

Parking: Public parking is available at the Newark Museum, 49 Washington Street, or at the Edison parking lot on Central Avenue at Halsey Street.
Reading Room: By appointment only. To schedule a research visit, book an appointment here. Please indicate the topic(s) of your research and which books you would like pulled. One week’s notice is required.
Public Transportation:
NJ Transit trains (Montclair-Boonton or Morris and Essex lines) run from NY Penn Station to Broad Street Station in Newark.
