Hello! You are welcome to join us for an afternoon of STEM, expressive arts, and radical self-care.

Get ready! Clear a space at home in front of your computer and television and put-on comfortable clothes!

We will feature: Yoga • Poetry • Activism • Scrapbooking • Herbal Tea Making.

*The first 10 teens to register will get a chakra bracelet kit and a Newark Public Library mug/water bottle! All teens will get an activity bag!

Free activity supplies (including the herbal tea kit) will be available for pickup March 15th-19th at the following branches:

10:15-11:00am: Guided Yoga & Meditation Rooted in Black History by Yoga Every Daye

11:00-12:00pm: Herbal Walk & Herbal Tea Making by Rabbit Hole Farm

12:00PM-12:30PM: Snack/Dance Break

12:30PM-2:00PM: “LET’S TALK S.T.E.A.M” w/ STEAM URBAN

12:30PM-1:00PM: Self-Identity: I AM Poem Creations & Presentations

1:00PM-1:30PM: Connecting to Nature: Nature Collages and Scrapbooking using found nature objects & recyclable materials. (The Art of Journaling)

1:30PM-2:00PM: Social Activism: Rooted in Black Healing (How do you want to change your community) and creating posters/dialog around this.
